Hello, my name is Harvey Sandhu and I am a Mortgage Broker and founder of Berks & Bucks Finance. I have been in the Financial Services industry for nearly 37 years, a very long time. You could say I am one of the ‘Old Timers’.
During this time, I have seen quite a few changes and experienced a few ups & downs:
- Interest rates once being as high as 16.5 %
- My first 2 Bed Terraced house cost me £49k, the same house is now worth £400k
- I’ve seen a few recessions, such as 1990, 2000 and the one that nearly wiped out the Banks in 2007
The last 37 years have certainly been a roller coaster, but it’s given me valuable experience and that goes along way in helping me look after my client’s needs.

Being an Online Broker we love tech. To make it easier for you we can arrange all our meetings online via Zoom. After that we can set you up on our online portal. Through here you can fill out all your required information, upload documents and see updates on your application.
How We Work
When one of our clients chooses us as their Mortgage Broker, they automatically get their own advisor. They will asses your needs, research, present all your available options and agree on the product of choice. It’s a bit like going to your doctor (but less painful).
Our Fees
After the initial consultation, we will discuss payment options to cover the costs of our services and will not charge anything until an agreement in writing has been reached. The fee is payable on commencement of our research.
